Dear Pro-Life Friend,

An innocent baby was just killed in the womb.

We couldn’t save her in time, but I’m praying you can help me save another precious life ... and many more during this crucial year for the international pro-life movement.

The horrible reality of the global abortion racket is that a baby is killed by abortion every second. This is truly the greatest human rights abuse in history ...

God’s precious children are being ripped apart or chemically executed — and they’re helpless against the poisonous drugs and dismemberment devices used by abortionists.

My Friend in Christ, I can’t save them without the continuing support of fellow pro-life missionaries like you. You’ve shown that you have a caring heart, and you’ve stood with me in the fight against the Culture of Death.

That’s why I’m praying you’ll respond to my letter to you today and rush back your 2019 Annual Fund Drive gift of $25, $50, $100, or even more if the Lord has blessed you with the ability to do so.

Your generous gift today will do twice as much and go directly toward helping our pro-life missionaries in the field — in more than 100 countries around the world — save innocent babies from abortion . . . protect the elderly and disabled from those pushing physician-assisted suicide . . . expose the dangers of contraception . . . provide much needed pro-life and family training to clergy, seminarians, lay leaders, and students ... and organize grassroots activists to fight back against the Culture of Death.

Your urgently-needed donation is extremely important in our fight against the death peddlers, and it will make a difference. HLI’s pro-life missionaries need every penny we can possibly raise from supporters like you to fund our missions ... because we are taking on corrupt organizations and governments that literally have billions at their disposal.

I’m talking about radical groups like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The Gates Foundation has heavily invested in pushing dangerous contraceptives on impoverished young women around the world. They think they can “cure” poverty by getting rid of poor people.

Melinda Gates — who claims to be Catholic — has allied herself with Big Abortion around the world. And she has the support of the United Nations and government leaders in forcing population control on the world’s poor.

In fact, French president Emmanuel Macron recently spoke at a Gates Foundation event focused on controlling Africa’s population. During the event, he made the despicable comment, “I always say, present me the woman who decided, being perfectly educated, to have seven, eight or nine children.”

This insult reveals the population controllers’ bigotry and their warped view of the value of human life.

And in response to President Donald Trump’s reinstatement of the Mexico City Policy — the policy forbidding U.S. taxpayer money going to pro-abortion groups overseas — the UN and European governments have banded together to raise hundreds of millions of dollars to fund the abortion cartel in Africa and other under-developed regions of the world.

Funds from this wretched program will flow directly to organizations that commit acts of evil every day, like International Planned Parenthood Federation and Marie Stopes International.

Unfortunately, abortion radicals within the U.S. government have found ways to keep taxpayer funds flowing to abortion-supporting organizations overseas in spite of the Mexico City Policy.

It’s also extremely concerning that many of my brother priests still don’t know what the Church actually teaches about the sacredness of human life. But HLI works closely with bishops around the world to provide pro-life training for seminarians and priests. Increasing HLI’s pro-life outreach within the Church is absolutely critical right now.

For these reasons, and many more I could cite, I urgently need your support.

Remember, HLI is the only Catholic grassroots apostolate working on six continents to end abortion, expose the harms of contraception, promote traditional marriage, stop euthanasia and ultimately defeat the Culture of Death.

HLI’s pro-life missionaries are on the front lines every day organizing the lay faithful, seminarians, religious and clergy, providing them with the resources to build and sustain an effective pro-life movement in their countries. In many of these nations, without HLI — without YOU — there would be no pro-life movement.

Together, we accomplished so much in 2018 ...

You helped HLI’s pro-life missionaries travel 620,000 miles around the world last year — spreading the Gospel of Life to hundreds of thousands of our brothers and sisters in Christ through our pro-life conferences and training sessions.

You made it possible for 3,871 seminarians to attend one of HLI’s many seminarian training conferences. At the Francophone Seminarian Summer Institute in July, 85% of the attendees told us they were at their very first HLI pro-life training conference and came to learn more about the Church’s teaching on life and family issues.

You helped us provide pro-life counseling to women considering abortion in Tanzania and teach Natural Family Planning to couples in Kenya.

You helped give ultrasounds to pregnant women in Mexico and provide shelter and aid to young mothers in Romania.

You made it possible for Dr. Ligaya Acosta, HLI’s Regional Director for Asia, to travel to Japan for a pro-life symposium at St. Ignatius Church in Tokyo. One attendee told us: “I found Dr. Ligaya’s presentation to be clear, logical and grounded in science and faith in God. It was so informative but also very powerful, moving, and inspirational! I feel fired up and much better informed to work to convince others that abortion is wrong! I am very grateful to Dr. Ligaya for an OUSTANDING talk. Thank you!”

You brought genuine care, understanding and the love of Christ to women forcibly injected with contraception and those pressured to abort the child in their womb.

And you helped us break through the lies and propaganda of the population control industry and open the eyes of our brothers and sisters in Christ, like Tatenda, who told us after an HLI training event in Zimbabwe: “This conference showed me that every life comes from God. It taught me that abortion is killing. I came to understand the dangers of using contraceptives.”

Through HLI’s critical pro-life training and educational programs, we can change a mother’s mind to choose life for her baby. Together, we can inspire our brothers and sisters in Christ to defend life by teaching them the horrific truth about abortion. We can train Catholic priests and seminarians to boldly preach the Gospel of Life and organize their flocks in the fight against the death peddlers.

And we can end taxpayer funding of organizations involved with promoting contraception and committing abortions.

There is much more work to be done in our global mission to spread the Gospel of Life and save innocent babies from being murdered in the womb.

But I can’t do any of this holy work without the continuing support of fellow pro-life missionaries like YOU.

PLEASE, please send your best gift of $25, $50, or even $100 or more.

May the peace of the Lord be with you and your family throughout the New Year. God bless you.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Father Shenan J. Boquet
President, Human Life International
